Book Discussion

Cycling
There are two cycling groups. Many people participate on ebikes but the pace accommodates those not riding ebikes. Rides are 25-40km and there is a coffee break factored into the trip.
Unfortunately both Tuesday and Thursday cycle groups are full but if anyone would like to start a new group assistance will be provided. Contact Ross.

Movies
Usually a movie showing at the Academy Gold (The Colombo), with lunch or coffee arranged before or after the movie. An email is sent to all Godley members notifying them of the movie and time. Members purchase their own tickets.

Places of Interest
This group visits a variety of interesting places around the city. An email is sent to all members inviting them to register their interest. Previous visits include Air Rescue Centre, Two Thumbs Brewery, Kilmarnock Enterprises and Pratt and Whitney (aircraft engineers).

Recorder Playing
This group offers recorder playing for a range of musical abilities

Walking
The walk is approximately 1 hour duration around different parts of Christchurch with coffee afterwards at a nearby cafe. An email is sent to all Godley members giving details of the meeting place and time.
